Philip Kingsley Director, Glenn Lyons, supports Toni & Guys Macmillan Cancer Support programme.
Philip Kingsley trichologist, Glenn Lyons, spoke yesterday for the Toni&Guy ‘Strength in Style’ programme, which is currently fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support. T&G’s Strength in Style service offers expert hair care advice, support and services to people in the UK living with cancer, from hair styling and colour to choosing and styling wigs and information on hair re-growth.
Of its 250 salons situated in London, Toni&Guy aims to train one senior stylist in each salon so that they can give hair care advice and counselling to customers who have or have had cancer: ‘To have this help available on the high street is an important service to people enabling them to be treated with dignity and respect.’ Glenn spoke at the Toni&Guy London Academy concerning the effects of cancer and cancer treatments on hair as part of their training programme. The money donated to Macmillan Cancer Support by Toni&Guy’s charitable foundation will be used to provide grants for wigs for those affected by cancer.
